WILL OR GOING TO

1. Odluka

Odluka nam je prva ključna reč.

Ako smo odlučili da ćemo nešto uraditi u trenutku dok to govorimo, da kažemo spontano onda je to – will + infinitiv.
Nestalo je mleka, otići ću da kupim.

Julie: There’s no milk.
John: Really? In that case, I’ll go and get some.

Ali ako smo odluku doneli ranije, pre nego što smo započeli diskusiju na datu temu, onda nam je potrebna kombinacija – be going to + infinitiv

Video Marko da nema mleka, još onomad pre sat vremena, zna da mora da ide u kupovinu ali seo da gleda utakmicu, pa će otići posle toga.

Julie: There’s no milk.
John: I know. I’m going to go and get some when this TV programme finishes.

2. Procena, predviđanje

Našu procenu, predviđanje šta će se desiti u budućnosti, možemo dati u zavisnosti od
- sopstvenog mišljenja – I think i u tom slučaju idemo na will+infinitiv
- onoga što čujemo i vidimo u sadašnjem trenutku – be going to + infinitiv
